Prince William Hockey Club

The attached application should be filled out accordingly and submitted to the proper Program Director for anyone interested in becoming a Head or Assistant Coach. All applicants should familiarize themselves with PWHC, PVAHA and USAH requirements posted on this page.

*Applications will be accepted through February 29, 2012 for anyone seeking to become a Head Coach for either a 2012 Spring Tournament Team or 2012-13 Travel Team.

Individual interviews will be conducted March 5-9, 2012 with Selections being submitted for BOD approval at the March 12 Meeting.

The attached document provides guidance on the selection and expectation of all Club coaches (House, Travel, Inline) as well as the same from PWHC

The following are USA Hockey requirements for all Coaches:

-Registered with USAH for the current season

-Current and on track with the CEP certification

-Completed Background Screening through the PVAHA (good for three years)

-Successfully completed USAH online modules specific to the age group they are coaching for the current season

Additionally, PWHC requires all coaches to:

-Pass an online Concussion Training module

-Enforce Club policies (Concussion, Abusive Behavior, etc)
