Prince William Hockey Club offers competitive hockey at the Tier II level. We participate in the CBHL (Chesapeake Bay Hockey League) and generally travel to rinks in Virginia, Maryland and DC for our league games. Most travel teams also participate in several tournaments throughout the season.
It is our goal to provide a fun, competitive environment where young hockey players can gain the skills and experience they need to continue playing year after year. Some of PWHC's alumni choose to play college or junior hockey as well.

While the first phase to get all our travel players wearing the same uniform is in motion, the Club is giving notice that as early as next season, 'Navy Blue'-colored gloves and helmets will be mandatory as well. If you are looking to replace these items now, or in the near future, please keep this in mind. Now is the best time to purchase any equipment as manufacturers are clearing out 2010/2011 models at deep discounts.
The Pro Shop will now be carrying a full complement of Navy Blue helmets and gloves.
With the recent media attention and better understanding of concussions in sports, the board of directors saw the need to create and address a concussion policy within our own club to protect the players and the coaches.
The goal of this was to not only educate the coaches, but the players and parents as well. While the training listed in the policy is mandatory for the coaches in house, inline, and travel, PWHC strongly encourages all families to review the information provided by the CDC.
The Prince William Hockey Club does not condone any acts of abusive behavior by its members towards officials, coaches, players, or spectators. All members have signed the Code of Conduct in accordance with PWHC’s Operational Guidelines and will be held accountable for their actions. For full policy details, click on the link below.
