The Prince William Hockey Club (PWHC) is a nonprofit youth sports organization working to develop and grow youth ice and in-line hockey programs at all age levels. Our hockey programs are very competitive and our coaches are some of the most committed in the area.
The Mission of the PWHC is to provide a quality hockey experience for our members. Our goal is to promote citizenship among our members and instill in each player the value of good sportsmanship. The Prince William Hockey Club Board of Directors is seeking nominees for the following board positions:
-- President and Chief Executive Officer
-- Executive Director of Ice House Programs
-- Executive Director of Membership
The roles and responsibilities of these positions are described in the club's by-laws, The full by-laws are posted under the "about us" tab above.
Club members in good standing interested in running for one of these open executive positions should self-nominate by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 8 p.m. on March 6th.
The email shall include:
- The position you wish to run for.
- Your biography. Your biography will be posted to the club's election website so the club membership can review the candidates for each position.
Elections will be conducted at the Annual Awards Social & Membership Meeting on March 18th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Prince William Ice Center.

The Prince William Hockey Family lost a long time volunteer and friend when Bill Elder passed away from a two year battle with cancer. Bill was a formerly the PWHC Inline Director, Vice President, Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and on various other committees within the club. Both of Bill's children grew up playing in all three Prince William Hockey Club programs.
Bill requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to multiple charities, to include the Prince William Hockey Club. If you would like to make a donation in Bill's name, you may do so by clicking on the Paypal Link.

The Prince William Hockey Club has partnered with the Network Hockey Development Program, led by former Washington Capital star Craig Laughlin, to conduct challenging and enriching skills clinics for the club’s Travel players as well as all PWHC goalies during the 2014-2015 Fall/Winter hockey season.

The Potomac Prospects is a joint effort between the Prince William Hockey Club, The Potomac Patriots and the Prince William Ice Center. The goal of the Potomac Prospects program is to offer a year-round, highly-competitive, developmental hockey program for players who may be interested in one day playing junior hockey or beyond.
Prince William Hockey Club Panther House Pee Wees took to the Ice at the Verizon Center before the Washington Capitals/Columbus Blue Jackets game on Oct. 19, 2013.
Several times each season, players from the Prince William Hockey Club travel to the Verizon Center to particpiate in Washington Capitals game-day events to include holding the Capital's flags as the team enters the ice or conducting a Mites on Ice game during inermissions.
