With less than a handful of actual ice time practices, the Panther Bantams went up to Hershey for their first tournament of the 2011-2012 season, going an impressive 4 wins and 1 loss to take Silver.
Unfortunately the one loss came in overtime of the Championship game vs. the New Jersey Rockets in a 3-2 loss. In a large 10 team split division, the Panthers and Rockets found themselves as the last men standing in a championship game that featured two goals in the final minute of regulation to shift momentum for both teams at different times.
A great start to the season both on and off the ice the entire weekend. There is a ton to look forward to as EVERYONE on the team contributed to the weekend's success. This is one of the most positive locker rooms I have ever been a part of, with each player wanting to learn and be a part of the bigger picture.
Great Job Panthers!
