Mite B Travel Team Wins The 2006 Silver Stick Championship

The Prince William Panther's MITE B Team was triumphant during the Silver Stick Tournament held 29 SEP through 1 OCT, in Laurel and Columbia Maryland. The MITEs successfully negotiated through three games to win a bid to play for the Championship, and then held off a late 2 goal rally by the Bowie Bruins to squeeze out a 6-5 victory. The MITEs are now qualified to compete in the MITE B Silver Stick Finals held in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, 26-28 JAN. Please congratulate the MITEs for being the first team in Prince William Panther history to win a Silver Stick tournament!
