the 2006 Congressional Thanksgiving Classic Tournament!

     The Prince William Panther 16U(A) team won the 2006 Congressional Thanksgiving Classic Tournament in Ashburn, VA. The Panthers were in the Midget Minor A division with 3 familiar CBHL opponents. The Panthers went 1-1-1 in the round robin with a 5-3 victory over the Baltimore Stars, a 3-3 tie with Virginia Wild and a 6-0 loss to the Reston Raiders. The Panthers brought their "A" game into the playoffs. The Panthers faced the Raiders again in the semi-finals and won 5-4 in 2 overtimes, earning them a spot in the championship game against the Virginia Wild. The Panthers won the championship game 5-3. Congratulations team!
