Email Guidance

The club often communitcates with members via email. These emails usually come from pwhockeyclub@comcast.net. Make sure that your email client (software), any SPAM filters that you may use, and your email provider know to allow email from pwhockeyclub@comcast.net and emails that may come from [anyone]@pwhockey.com to reach your inbox.

Here're some specific things you can do:

If you are using Microsoft Outlook:

  • Click on ACTIONS in the top tool bar.
  • Go down the resulting menu to JUNK EMAIL.
  • Then move over to the other resulting menu and click JUNK EMAIL OPTIONS..
  • Click on the tab SAFE SENDERS.
  • Click ADD and enter @pwhockey.com in the box.
  • Click OK.
  • Repeat the last two steps to add pwhockeyclub@comcast.net
  • Close that window.
  • Messages from any email address that ends in @pwhockey.com and from pwhockeyclub@comcast.net will not be "junked" by MS Outlook now.

If you use Comcast via your browser (http://mailcenter.comcast.net...)

  • Click on SCREENED EMAIL in the vertical left hand navigation box.
  • Look for any emails from @pwhockey.com and/or from pwhockeyclub@comcast.net.
  • Select (Ctrl+left mouse click) each of the emails from @pwhockey.com and from pwhockeyclub@comcast.net.
  • Go to the top area with all the square icons and click on the one that says THIS IS NOT SPAM.
  • Emails from the club should now show up in your INBOX.
